4 displaced, dog rescued in Racine fire

RACINE — A family and their dog were displaced by a fire Thursday night in Racine.

The Racine Fire Department said the fire happened on Deane Boulevard just before 11 p.m. Fire officials believe the fire started through the misuse of a cigarette lighter.

The family dog was rescued by firefighters.

There were no injuries reported.
