The Waukesha County Sheriff's Office has identified the pedestrian who was struck by a semi on I-94 as a 31-year-old man.
The sheriff's office says the man was hit by a semi that was traveling westbound on I-94 near Barker Road in the Town of Brookfield. The crash happened just before 6:30 a.m. Sunday.
The driver of the semi truck stayed on the scene after the crash. He was identified as a 52-year-old man.
The interstate was closed for nearly four hours after the incident.
The sheriff's office is continuing to investigate this crash, and the name of the 31-year-old man is being withheld until the family is notified.
