A 21-year-old woman died after her car left the roadway and struck a tree Sunday morning.
It happened at approximately 3:30 a.m. in the 10600 block of County Highway W and Fox River Road in the Town of Wilmot.
According to the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department, Alyssa D. Lass, of Bristol, was driving south on County Highway W, lost control, left the roadway and hit a tree.
Lass, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was the only person in the car.
The circumstances leading up to the crash are under investigation.
