MILWAUKEE -- A 20-year-old woman was shot on the city's north side Thursday afternoon.
It happened at approximately 11:30 a.m. near 69th Street and Sheridan Avenue.
She suffered a serious injury and was taken to the hospital.
It is unclear why she was shot, but Milwaukee police said they are looking for a known suspect.
