MILWAUKEE — Two Milwaukee firefighters were taken to the hospital after a stairwell collapsed underneath them while battling a house fire on Thursday.
It happened near 1st and Garfield around 7:30 p.m.
According to the Milwaukee Fire Department, the two firefighters suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
