MILWAUKEE -- A 19-year-old man was shot while sitting in a vehicle in Milwaukee's Sherman Park neighborhood Tuesday night.
The shooting happened at approximately 10 p.m. near Sherman Boulevard and Auer Avenue.
Milwaukee police said the suspect fired several gunshots into the vehicle.
After being shot, officials said a friend took the victim to the hospital. He is expected to survive.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting are unknown at this time.
