MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department is conducting an investigation after a 17-year-old was shot and injured Monday morning.
The shooting occurred around 1 a.m. Monday in the 1700 block of N. Warren Avenue.
Police say the teen was walking when an armed suspect walked up to him and demanded property. The suspect then fired shots which hit the victim.
The 17-year-old sustained non-life-threatening injuries and walked to a local hospital for treatment.
