A 17-year-old girl is being treated for life-threatening injuries after she was struck by a vehicle Saturday in the Village of Sussex.
The accident happened around 8:45 p.m. at the intersection of Hwy 164 and Main Street.
The Waukesha County Sheriff's Office says the striking vehicle was driven by a 22-year-old woman who was believed to have been northbound on Hwy 164 at the time of the accident.
The victim was transported to the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
No other information has been released at this time. The Sheriff's office says the incident remains under investigation.
