MILWAUKEE – A 17-year-old girl is in the hospital after an overnight shooting on Milwaukee’s south side.
It happened around 12:48 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Casar Chavez Drive and Pearl Street.
Milwaukee police say the victim was shot inside a home and suffered a serious gunshot wound.
Police are working to find out the circumstances that led up to the shooting.
