MILWAUKEE — A 16-year-old Milwaukee girl was shot Sunday while in her home in the 5500 block of N. 58th Street, police say.
The incident happened around 10:16 p.m. and left the 16-year-old with non-life-threatening injuries. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The Milwaukee Police Department said the girl was in her home when shots were fired and she was struck. They are now investigating the incident.
