The golf season starts Wednesday with Milwaukee County's group-tee off at Dretzka Park Golf Course.

This annual event, lead by Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele, will mark the official opening of all 15 Milwaukee County Parks golf courses.

"Spring is finally coming to Milwaukee," Abele said in a statement. "Throughout the seemingly endless winter we were able to open our golf courses on the more temperate days to serve more than 5,000 golfers since late February. It's a testament to the popularity of Milwaukee County Parks golf courses throughout the region."

The event begins at 3:30 p.m. Find more information here.
