The victim of the fatal shooting on the north side Monday night was a 13-year-old, police said.
Police were called to a shooting near 13th and Hopkins around 8 p.m.
Shots were fired into the home, and the girl was hit while sitting with her family.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one is in custody, and police have no suspects at this time.
Police said they are unsure what the motive behind the shooting was. They aren't sure if the house was targeted.
