MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Across Wisconsin, F-16 pilots from the Wisconsin Air National Guard will be saluting health care workers and first responders on the front lines of the cornonavirus pandemic by flying over 17 cities.

From Kenosha to La Crosse to Eau Claire and Green Bay, the salute called Wings Over Wisconsin, is scheduled for Tuesday evening.

Four F-16s from the Wisconsin Air National Guard 115th Fighter Wing are participating in Operation American Resolve, which is a national campaign to show appreciation for healthcare and front line workers.

The Navy's Blue Angels and the Air Force's Thunderbirds have performed flyovers to thank health care workers across the U.S.
