MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a shots fired incident that occurred Tuesday around 4:45 p.m.
Police say a suspect fired several shots into a vehicle in the 3800 block of N. 12th Street.
A one-year-old was in the vehicle when shots were fired and sustained non-life-threatening head lacerations from broken glass. That child was taken to a local hospital.
A 26-year-old man was arrested in connection to the shooting. According to police, criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the upcoming days.
