TOWN OF DELAFIELD -- One person was killed and two were injured after a wreck on I-94 Tuesday evening.
Multiple agencies were called at approximately 5:30 p.m. to a two-vehicle crash on I-94 west of Hwy SS in the Town of Delafield.
Witnesses told police that a vehicle going west on I-94 crossed the median into eastbound traffic and struck a vehicle head-on.
The driver of the vehicle that crossed the median was an 18-year-old woman from Waukesha. She was taken to the hospital by helicopter with serious injuries. Her passenger, a 67-year-old woman from Waukesha, was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.
The driver of the vehicle that was struck was a 22-year-old woman from Delafield. She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
