Out of six airlines flying out of Milwaukee Mitchell International, United, Delta, Alaska, Southwest, American and Frontier, Frontier leads the way with the highest number of flights that were late, just over 24 percent (24.1 percent).

The data comes from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics.

TODAY’S TMJ4 examined data from Jan. 1 of 2018 through Jan. of 2019. American Airlines came in second place with 17.21 percent.

Southwest Airlines is at number three with 14.37 percent of flights that were late during that time frame. Alaska Airlines followed at 13.96 percent, Delta Airlines had 10.6 percent of flights that ran late.

Finally, United Airlines had the lowest percentage of flights that ran late at 8.44 percent of flights.

The data shows, when it comes to cancellations, all of the airlines did well. United airlines didn't have any cancellations.

The percentage of flights canceled for the rest were very low, all under two percent. The percentages are based on the number of flights these airlines had and that varies.

During that time frame, for instance, Southwest had more than 11,000 (11,284) flights, while United only had 154 flights.
