An Outagamie County Sheriff's deputy is suffering from minor injuries after his squad car was hit by a drunk driver.

The incident happened Sunday near Appleton in the Town of Buchanan.

The deputy was sitting in his squad car entering a driver's information into his computer during a traffic stop when it happened, according to officials.

A second incident happened on Tuesday when a deputy's squad car was hit while on patrol. A vehicle crossed the center line on HWY 47 near the Town of Center. The deputy tried to avoid the car, and but collided causing damage to both drivers' side doors, according to officials.

In both incidents, the intoxicated drivers were arrested for OWI offenses.
