The Democratic National Convention Committee is looking for some starry-eyed interns to help them out with this summer's convention in Milwaukee.

Young people from Wisconsin will have the chance to participate in the political process, working alongside DNC Committee staff.

"Conventions are historic events and all those working to ensure the 2020 Democratic National Convention is a success will have a front row seat to history," said Democratic National Convention Committee CEO Joe Solmonese in a press release. "I look forward to welcoming the energy and vision of our party's next generation of leaders to our dynamic and growing team."

The internship will begin May 18 and end July 20. Interns will be paid $15 an hour. Those enrolled in accredited schools may request course credit as well.

All interested applicants should visit the Democratic Convention's website and click the Intern Application link to submit an application. Candidates must be 18-year-old or older, legally eligible to work in the United States. Applications are due by March 27.
