A home has suffered severe damage after an explosion in Village of Harrison -- which is located near Appleton.
The explosion happened Wednesday morning in the 5600-block of Fire lane 12 Road. According to officials injuries have been reported.

Appleton Police says people should avoid the area at this time. Neighbors have been evacuated. Nearby roads in the area have been blocked off.
We Energies reports 78 people are without power after the explosion. They say they plan to have power restored by 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
