DENMARK, Wis. -- Officials in Brown County are investigating an accident involving a semi-tractor and a 4-year-old boy that happened in the Village of Denmark.
The boy and other children were getting candy during the annual Lion's Parade on County Highway KB.
They say just before noon, the boy's leg was partially run over by a semi-tractor with a full-size milk tanker trailer.
Officials say the boy got too close to the end of the trailer and his leg got caught and pinned under the tire.
The boy suffered a significant leg injury but nothing life-threatening.
He was transported to a local hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
