MILWAUKEE -- With the holidays in full swing, the Postal Service is delivering more cards, letters, and packages every day.

This means customers will start to see postal employees delivering packages earlier in the morning, later in the evening, and even on Sundays, USPS said Monday.

They are projecting about 15 billion pieces of mail to be delivered between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve. This includes more than 850 million packages.

To make sure your gift arrives on time, double check the delivery deadlines and the address you put on the package. USPS also requests you leave your porch light on to ensure the safety of the letter carriers.
