GLENDALE -- For the fourth consecutive year, Meijer donated thousands of toys to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee.
On Tuesday morning the shipment was delivered to Bayshore Town Center.
For a lot of families involved in the Boys and Girls Club, this may be the only gift they get this year.
"A lot of our youth come from where budgets can be tight this time of year," David Kuta of the Boys and Girls Club said. "and providing a child just one toy to unwrap this holiday season can provide so much joy to that youth, and really supports that family as well."
More than two dozen volunteers helped unload trucks, as well as sorted and organized the toys to get them ready for the wrapping process that begins next week.
