Karl Letsche is a News Content Planning Producer at TMJ4 News, a role in which he plans content and logistics for broadcast and web.
Karl was born and raised on a farm in northwest Iowa and is a Journalism and Mass Communication graduate from Iowa State University. He is proud to call the Midwest home all his life.
Karl started his career in television in 2013 at WQAD in Moline, Illinois. In 2014, he moved to the Mount Rushmore State to work at KDLT in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In 2019, he moved to Wisconsin and joined TMJ4 News as a newscast producer, later becoming a content planning producer in 2021.
Karl is a member of NLGJA: The Association of LGBTQ+ Journalists and is a member of the Scripps Pride ERG.
Karl lives in Port Washington with his fiancé Bradlee. In his free time, he spoils his dog Karson, explores
Lake Michigan's many beaches, and tastes craft beer at his favorite Wisconsin taverns and supper clubs.
