Jim Wilson

Executive Reporter

Jim Wilson joined the TMJ4 news team in 2022. He currently works with the station's multimedia journalists (MMJs) as the executive reporter.

Jim’s 35-year career in the Milwaukee television market started out as a photojournalist, where he quickly fell in love with the art of storytelling. He has told the stories of thousands of Wisconsinites over the years with passion and a commitment to the truth. He has been recognized for his work by his peers, winning hundreds of state, local and national awards.

In 1996, Jim was honored as the Region 5 Photographer of the Year by the National Press Photographers Association. His work on the topic of bullying won a George Foster Peabody Award in 2004. He was inducted into the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Silver Circle for his lifetime contributions to the television industry in 2017.

Jim and his wife, Ann, live in Kewaskum with their dog, Lexi.
