A knife reportedly found at the former home of O.J. Simpson is being tested by police.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the weapon was found several years ago by a person working construction on Simpson's former property.

It's unclear if the knife is being considered as evidence in the well-publicized June 1994 murder of Simpson's ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. Simpson was accused of their murder but was found not guilty in October 1995.

The Los Angeles Police Department is expected to hold a press conference regarding the new discovery at 12:15 p.m. Eastern. WATCH LIVE:
