The sunshine has returned and 30s haven't felt this good for awhile! High pressure will help to quiet the wind a bit this evening but it will also keep skies clear tonight, allowing temperatures to drop into the teens with a light wind that may allow patchy fog to form.

Tuesday will be the best day out of the week with sunshine and seasonably mild high temperatures in the low to mid-40s, with a light wind it will be the bright spot in the forecast and the best day to get outside and enjoy the melting. Tuesday night a large storm system approaches to bring rain by nightfall. Rain chances ramp up heading into Wednesday as warmer, more moist air arrives with temperatures in the upper 40s. Keep the umbrella around throughout the day because it will continue to rain heading into Thursday, and with all the moisture we will see fog as well. Wednesday night and into Thursday morning there is even a chance for thunderstorms as the warm front rolls through. Trade the umbrella for a rain coat on Thursday since the wind will be increasing and may turn the umbrella inside out. Temperatures will be in the upper 50s but it won't quite feel that warm due to the clouds, rain and wind. Many locations will see 0.50"-1.50" of rain by the time the cold front sweeps through on Friday morning, changing any light rain show over to a light snow shower or flurry, though we aren't expecting much in terms of snow with this giant storm system.
