Late night host and "Saturday Night Live" alum Seth Myers has banned presumptive GOP candidate for president Donald Tump from his "Late Night with Seth Myers" show, which airs on TODAY'S TMJ4.

The announcement came on Tuesday night's broadcast, in reaction to Trump's recent decision to revoke the Washington Post's press credentials and block them from covering his campaign.

"As long as the Washington Post is banned from Donald Trump's campaign, Donald Trump will be banned from ever coming on this show," Meyers said.

Meyers attacked Trump for seemingly insinuating that President Obama supports the terrorist network ISIS. Trump has flatly denied he made that connection, but also later tweeted out a story that supported the theory.

"This hateful, dangerous rhetoric has the potential to make Muslim-Americans feel threatened and unwelcome," Meyers added.

Of course, the ban may largely be symbolic in nature, as Meyers himself admitted.

“To be fair he wasn’t coming on anyway, let’s be honest," the comedian said. "He isn’t interested in being here.”

Trump's campaign agrees. Early Wednesday evening, it released a statement blasting Meyers' ban"

“He has begged me to do the show for the last two years. I have told him emphatically ‘no,'” Trump said, according to Variety. “I only like doing shows with good ratings."
