MILWAUKEE -- Day 2 of “The Big Gig” on Milwaukee’s lakefront has a jam-packed lineup with plenty to do in-between acts. 

Here’s what you need to make Day 2 at Summerfest one to remember:

James Taylor & Bonnie Raitt take the big stage

James Taylor’s got a friend in Bonnie Raitt, and the two will play the American Family Insurance Amphitheater Thursday night. Show-time starts at 7:30 p.m. 

Cheap drinks!

Pick n Save is presenting Throwback Thursday, giving fans beverages at 50 percent off beverages (excluding ice cream drinks and smoothies) from noon until 6 p.m. Also, shoppers who spent $50 or more at Pick ‘n Save stores that saved their receipts between May 9 and June 12 get four free tickets between noon and 6 p.m. Get more information here.

$1 Brats

Klement’s is giving Summerfest-goers a taste of Wisconsin, selling brats for just $1 at the Mid Gate from noon until 2 p.m. Proceeds will for to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission. There is a limit of one brat per person.
