We're sure you've heard the roaring of motorcycle engines echoing throughout Milwaukee, but if you haven't figured it out already, this weekend is the 115th anniversary of Harley Davidson. Here's how they motorcycle group is celebrating:
It's your average motorcycle race but with a little bit more soda involved than usual. For Flat Out Friday, bikers race on a track completely coated in Dr. Pepper soda for stickiness. Find out what it's all about at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena and at the Pre-Race Street Party on Kilbourn Ave.
On Saturday head over to Bradford Beach for the first beach race in 100 years. The Beach Brawl starts at 12 p.m. and goes until 7 p.m.
Harley street parties are going on all weekend in Wauwatosa, Milwaukee's east side and the Third Ward. Join Harley bikers in enjoying food, drinks and live music.
The Oriental Theatre is jumping on the bike bandwagon with the Milwaukee Motorcycle Film Festival. Milwaukee Film is hosting viewings of some of the greatest motorcycle films ever made.
For a break from Harley Davidson, check out Fern Fest. It's a party for the grand opening of Ivy House and Fernweh patio bar. There will be live music, food trucks and signature craft cocktails. It's going on all weekend long.
