Summer goes out with a bang in Milwaukee this weekend

MILWAUKEE — It's the unofficial end of summer, as hard as it is to write that. But in true Milwaukee fashion, we go out with a bang. These are the events you can't miss this weekend in the City of Festivals:

Big Pig BBQ at Summerfest Grounds
It's going to smell amazing along the lakefront Sunday as 15 restaurants from all over Wisconsin compete to become the "BBQ King of Milwaukee."

The family-friendly event is $2 for adults and free for kids 12 and under. VIP tickets are $45 and include 10 BBQ samples, a beverage and early entry.

A portion of sales will go toward the Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin, which helps homeless and at-risk vets by providing basic needs such as food, clothing and shelter.

Harley-Davidson rally weekend
If it's Labor Day weekend in Milwaukee, you know there's a Harley-Davidson fest! It's their anniversary weekend, and the Harley-Davidson Museum is hosting the 2019 Milwaukee Rally.

Live entertainment, tattoo artists, stunt shows and artists will be alongside thousands of Harley riders from all over the country as they celebrate one of Milwaukee's most iconic festivals.

Third Ward Art Festival
Take the Hop and check out more than 140 artists from all over the world as they descend on Broadway in the Historic Third Ward. The very family-friendly eventwill run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Fresh Coast Jazz Festival at Marcus Center
The inaugural festival will bring so many jazz artists to one of the most iconic Milwaukee theaters, The Marcus Center. Teaming up with Saint Kate and Edelweiss Cruises, the festival will be the first of its kind in the city. For a complete list of events, check this out.

Milwaukee County traveling beer garden in Juneau Park
