The 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo are a little more than one year away, but Team USA is getting fans excited with a special interactive experience at Summerfest this weekend.

It all happens inside a vehicle that’s filled with neon lights that represent different aspects of the Olympics and Paralympics, from the opening ceremony to the streets of the home city.

You also get the chance to video chat with past Olympians or meet them in person. On Sunday, you can meet gymnastics medalists Morgan and Paul Hamm from Wisconsin. You can also video chat with gymnastics medalist Laurie Hernandez.

Medalist and swimmer Elizabeth Beisel said it’s a cool opportunity to talk with their fans and get exposure.

“We don’t have the NBA Finals every year or World Series every year, so the Olympics for swimmers is pretty much it, so the more support that we get from the public within the United States the better for us,” she said.

The vehicle is filled with social media opportunities as well.

The experience will be at Summerfest all day Saturday.
