FRANKLIN -- Milwaukee Pug Fest, a six-hour event celebrating the chunky, snorty and sweet-natured breed, is returning to Milwaukee this weekend.

The 14th Annual Pug Fest is the largest celebration of pugs in the country. It will draw pug lovers from all across the country, attracting more than 3,800 humans and over 2,100 pugs, pug mixes, and other “smushie-faced breeds.” The fest has many special activities. Last year's event featured a pug race!
The event takes place Sunday, May 20 from 9:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Milwaukee County Indoor Sports Complex in Franklin.
