The Milwaukee Maze is closing its doors, but not because business was slow.
The maze has only been open for three months. But owners say the maze became a target for vandals.
The maze has had issues with break-ins, graffiti, vandalism and theft.
“We feel that it is in the company’s best interest to monitor the maze more closely in order to ensure the safety of the people and the maze. Thank you, everyone, for your support, we will keep you posted,” the company said on Facebook.
The maze is located at McCarty Park in West Allis.
The Facebook message said the maze will be moved to a private location, though it didn’t say where.
