The Milwaukee County Zoo is hoping you will spend part of your Independence Day with the animals, and is offering admission for just $4 on July 4.

The Zoo will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 4, and the $4 fee is for all visitors. There will still be a $12 parking fee.

The zoo is excited to featuring their feathered and furry friends, such as Anchovy, the Humboldt penguin. The three-month-old hatched in March and made her debut last month. Anchovy is the zoo’s first surviving chick in three years.

Visit the zoo’s website to learn more about the animals and plan your trip.
