WEST ALLIS — Where can you find authentic Asian cuisine and helicopter rides at the same summer event?
Asia Fest of Milwaukee has you covered.
The festival is scheduled July 12 through July 14 at the Wisconsin State Fair Park, 640 S. 84th St., in West Allis.
Hours are 3 to 10 p.m. July 12, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. July 13 and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. July 14.
Free entertainment and fun and educational activities for kids also are planned.
Asia Fest of Milwaukee is a collaborative effort by many organizations and communities in Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota and Indiana.
This event is made possible by the participation of many diverse ethnic groups including Chinese, South Korean, Japanese, Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malaysian, Thai, Nepal, Sri Lankan, Filipino, Taiwanese, Hmong, Laos and others.
