If it wasn't Christie Brinkley, you might not be able to guess which swimsuit model is 63 years old in a widely circulated photo in this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue,

The timeless swimsuit model has returned to the pages of Sports Illustrated, and this time she brought her kids with her.

Brinkleyposed for SI with her daughters Sailor Brinkley Cook, 18, and Alexa Ray Joel, 31.

Brinkley is no stranger to the swimsuit issue, appearing on the front page in 1979, 1980 and 1981.

"This is a real full circle moment for me," Christie told SI. "I can get very emotional about this. How many years ago, I was that insecure girl hoping that I would be good enough for the magazine. So to see my daughters now having the same thoughts I had, and to be able to see them actually be there on the job, was definitely a big moment.”

Ray Joel, whose father is singer Billy Joel, is just beginning her career as a model, and said she’s still trying pave her own path.

"We all have our own style. And Sailor is kind of the young new little, perfect little, sporty little model,” she told SI. “My mom is almost, I tease her, that she's ADD in terms of how much energy she has. She literally can't stop moving. And I'm still new at this and I was just trying to maintain my focus."

Let's STOP degrading and START celebrating ourselves and others, from both the inside AND out. ??????There's far too much degradation, competition, insecurity, and unhealthy standards associated with women and their bodies- particularly on social-media. As a conscious society, it's up to us to flip this negativity on its head. I don't have a completely flat tummy, or cellulite-free thighs... nor am I a model's height or shape. Neither are hundreds of millions of other beautiful women out there. SO WHAT? Does it really matter, in the end? All that matters is how YOU feel about yourself. Set your own standards of beauty; both internally and externally. All of those unrealistic-looking, photoshopped images are nothing more than white noise, playing off of your own insecurities in order to make a buck. Don't let them affect you. DO YOU! We are all perfect, just as we are. Please know that. Thank you @si_swimsuit for showcasing all heights, shapes, and sizes. For within our distinctions, our quirks, and our self-perceived 'flaws'... therein lies the beauty. {Capture Credit: @si_swimsuit #BehindTheScenes Thank you for the honor of shooting me with my Precious & Golden Sunshines: Mamacita & Sailorina.}
