There are a lot of good things happening at TODAYS TMJ4 Call 4 Action! In just the past three months, they have gotten back over $48,000 for consumers in our area!
Some of the cases included getting medical bills paid or written off when insurers or providers originally said no, getting contractors to fix problems or reimburse consumers for damages, and getting retailers to replace or refund money when their products did not meet a consumer’s expectations. But, they also had success in helping people to get housing, steer clear of scams, as well as providing resources for people who had problems with a debt collector.
If you have a consumer problem or complaint, Call 4 Action can help by providing mediation, education, and referral information. Volunteers assist consumers via phone Tuesday - Thursday between 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 pm by calling 414-967-5495. Volunteers provide a listening ear and will mediate with a business or agency to resolve a problem. Call 4 Action also wants to hear from people who have been targeted by scams. This information helps them to warn others.
