If your holiday plans include staying home more than usual this year, there’s a new board game hitting store shelves inspired by one of the most popular Christmas films that will surely help get you into the spirit.

For ages 8+, Elf: Journey from the North Pole is for 2-4 players and takes around 20 minutes to play. Along with the actual board game, it also includes 12 tokens, seven goal cards, 60 path cards and an adorable Buddy the Elf figurine.

The goal of the game is to help Buddy find his dad (which is also the concept of the movie, if you haven’t seen it), by laying a route from the North Pole to New York City. You’ll use the path cards to move Buddy along its curves and lead him toward secret goal landmarks along the way to score points. The player with the most points when Buddy the Elf finds his dad is the winner.

While only available for pre-order right now, it costs $19.99 and will be released at Target on Nov. 1, so you will have it in plenty of time for the holiday season.

If “Elf” is one of your favorite holiday movies, you’ll definitely need more than just the game to help celebrate the holidays this year — and you might as well start with breakfast.

This new “Elf” cereal not only has green and red tree-shaped marshmallows, but it also tastes like maple syrup (one of the four main food groups for elves). You can also enjoy “Elf”-inspired coffee creamer from International Delight. The company is also giving their Frosted Sugar CookiePeppermint Mocha and Caramel Waffle Cookie creamers makeovers with “Elf”-themed packaging.

You can also show off your love for your favorite elf with this life-size inflatable for your front yard. Or, if you have some young “Elf” fans at home, Fisher-Price has released an “Elf” Little People Set for ages 1 and up.

The adorable set features a Christmas tree and two characters from the movie — Buddy and Jovie — all brought down to Little People toy size.
