MILWAUKEE -- The Bay View community came together over the weekend for a bags tournament to help a Milwaukee man walk again.
Matt Felton lost his legs in explosion more than a year ago, while fueling his van with natural gas at a city fueling station.
More than 32 teams participated to help raise money for Felton to undergo a special surgery -- available only in Australia -- to fit him for special prosthetics. The surgery is not covered by insurance.
"Basically it's prosthetics without any of the things that have to be attached to your legs," Felton said. "It's an amazing procedure that from my research and talking to people who've had it. They say it's the best thing that's ever happened to them."
The fundraiser ended up raising $7,000 for Felton.
