The Milwaukee Brewers announced both good and bad news Friday afternoon.

Brewers left fielder Ryan Braun will return to the 10-day disabled list with a left calf strain. Braun missed nine games earlier this month with the same injury.

Braun was 0-9 once returning to the lineup this week. He is batting .262 with seven home runs in 2017.

Luckily for Milwaukee, pitcher Junior Guerra has been reinstated, and will make his first start on Friday since Opening Day, when he threw just three innings before leaving with a calf injury.

Guerra posted a 2.81 ERA over 20 starts last season. The Milwaukee starting rotation ranks 23rd in baseball with a 4.75 ERA this year.

The Brewers have lost four straight games, dropping them out of first place in the NL Central.
