He's only 19 years old, but the Milwaukee native and student at DePaul University is already concerned about his purpose in life.

"I wanted to think about how I can make an impact on a larger scale and I began to think about what can I do," shares Braylen Stevens.

He works to inspire others through his business 'MBRACED CULTURE." Behind the T-shirts he sells is an important message.

"I want them to think about being themselves. Not just being yourself but embracing who you are. "
Stevens admits it was not always easy. As a young man he always loved drama and theater. But he was afraid to share his talent with peers out. He feared being teased.

"For me being different was being interested in performing arts being interested in theater and not the athlete that everyone else admired."

But Stevens no longer hides his gift for performing. He lives up to the motto on his shirts that he sells in Chicago and Milwaukee.

He hopes his clothes remind others to live an authentic life and rejoice in what makes us unique.

"You'll drive yourself crazy if you're constantly trying to impress others just because you don't always meet the satisfaction of others and what they want you to do. So just be you!
