MILWAUKEE -- President Barack Obama plans to meet with Bernie Sanders Thursday at the White House.

This, after Hillary Clinton made history Tuesday becoming the first female presumptive Presidential candidate for the Democratic Party.

A UW-Milwaukee political science professor believes the luster may already be fading, but it has nothing to do with this history-making moment. He believes, it is because people have known the Clinton's after 30 years, and from when she ran for President in 2008.

"It was the historic excitement of either the first woman in the White House, or the first African American in the White House. Barack Obama pulls ahead of her and its sort of, the air got let out of the tires," said Mordecai Lee, UW-Milwaukee Political Science Professor.

The focus for the Democratic party now, is to get everyone on the same page. The Democratic Party of Wisconsin set up a phone bank on Martin Luther King Junior Drive to get people behind the 'Bernie or Bust' movement, to unite behind the Democratic Party come November.
