Bucks fever is sweeping Milwaukee and the excitement has not stopped since Thursday's night home playoff win in front of a sold out crowd.

"To see 'Fear the Deer' on all the county buses going around town, to see banners on Public Market, flags hanging in city hall and see that Bucks pride and that green throughout the city is really great for us," said Dustin Godsey the chief marketing officer of the Milwaukee Bucks.

The team even broke a record Thursday night. Godsey said they had the highest TV viewership for a Bucks game.

Wherever you go in the city, even to Miller Park to hang out with the Racing Sausages, people are cheering on the Bucks.

Some people are new to the Bucks nation.

"I just joined the bandwagon," said William Desarden.

Very new!

"Just last night," said Desarden while heading into Miller Park. He was wearing the Bucks shirt given out at Thursday's game. One of his first.

While others are lifers.

"I have been watching them since Bob Lanier was around," said Bob Butterbrodt while standing at his Brewers tailgate.

"I've always been a Bucks fan," said Scott Hoiby while walking into the Brewers game in a Bucks sweatshirt.

But even the die hards welcome the fans.

"It's bandwagons from Milwaukee so that's OK. You have to root for your home team," said Quincy Bolden.

Coach Jason Kidd has just one request for all the fans following the excitement from Thursday's win.

"I think they have to duplicate what they did last night," said Coach Kidd.
