Bus carrying Wisconsin High School students catches fire

Bus was carrying 39 students, 2 chaperones

OSHKOSH, Wis. - No one was hurt after a high school bus caught fire Tuesday evening near Oshkosh. 

According to the Neenah Joint School District, a bus carrying 39 NHS seniors and two chaperones caught fire around 8:45 p.m.  

District leaders say the group was coming back from a trip to Great America and blew a tire. That’s when the bus caught fire.

Passengers were put on another bus and are safe.
