GREENVILLE, Wis. -- Nearly a year has passed since a baby kangaroo was stolen from its mother's pouch at Special Memories Zoo in Greenville.
Now that mother's pouch has healed, and she's mom to a new joey. The zoo says the baby has been poking its head out recently.

A baby kangaroo usually stays in its mother's pouch for several months before coming out on their own.
The Outagamie County Sheriff's Department is still investigating the case of the missing baby kangaroo from last year. Deputies ask you contact them if you have any information.
