Major League Baseball announcer Joe Buck doesn't seem too concerned about a campaign to have Bob Uecker call the World Series between the Chicago Cubs and the Cleveland Indians.

An Illinois man set up a Change.org petition to replace Buck with Uecker as an homage to Uecker's portrayal of Indians announcer Harry Doyle in the 1989 movie "Major League."

The petition has racked up nearly 46,000 signatures as of Tuesday morning.

Buck responded on Twitter Monday evening, saying "Nothing would make me happier than to have Uecker in the booth."

Bonus points to Buck for taking the high road on this one, especially seeing as the chances of it actually happening are about the same as Charlie Sheen starting Game 1 for the Indians.

However, the smart money says Uecker shows up in the booth at some point during the Series.
