STOUGHTON, Wisc. -- A Wisconsin man may have taken the Packers/Vikings rivalry way too far.
A Stoughton homeowner is recovering from his injuries after he was stabbed seven times after confronting a man vandalizing his Minnesota Vikings inflatable yard decoration.
According to WISC-TV, police were called to the home Sunday evening after receiving a report that a 21-year-old man was damaging the inflatable with a box cutter, and began stabbing the 36-year-old owner when he was confronted.
The victim was treated and released from a local hospital.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of reckless endangerment and criminal damage to property.
