Aaron Rodgers is still weeks away from being eligible to play in a game, but his teammates think his recovery is going well.

Clay Matthews told reporters Wednesday that he's impressed with Rodgers progress.

"To watch Aaron and what he's been doing, I think we probably should have kept him off of IR," Clay Matthews said. "The way he's coming along, some of these balls he's thrown. Everything that a quarterback has to do, it's pretty remarkable so, it would be really neat to see him out there but who knows if it will give us a boost. But it's always good when you get your studs back."

Rodgers is not eligible to play again until the December 17 game against the Panthers. Rodgers previously said if he's not fully healed, he won't come back this season.
