MILWAUKEE -- One of the best parts of Opening Day didn't take place on the baseball diamond at all. In fact, it started at a sausage plant.
The 15th annual Klement's Racing Sausages "First Brat" Relay Race delighted fans of baseball and sausages once again this season. Beginning at the Klement's plant on Chase Ave., the relay race runs all the way to Miller Park.
Each Racing Sausage takes a leg of the race, ensuring the precious cargo was delivered to Miller Park on time and in good condition.
For more sausage-related action, you'll have to head to a Brewers game, where the fan favorites race just before the bottom of the sixth inning.
