The World's Greatest Cookie Sale is a sweet tradition at Country Springs Hotel in Waukesha County.
The event typically serves up thousands of homemade cookies.
This year's event takes place Nov. 27 from noon to 4 p.m.
Hotel GM Nancy Richards calls it a rewarding annual event.
"It's a great feeling inside. My father started this 25 years ago wanting to give back to the community. We lost him last year and the tradition continues," Richards said.
Customers will find thousands of homemade cookies and baked goods to satisfy a variety of tastes.
"It's a good way that my wife doesn't have to make a lot of cookies at home. She loves all the selections. It's nice to see all the groups that have a chance to so some charitable work," Wayne Kostka says.
Proceeds go to 22 non-profit groups. When people buy items, the money goes directly to the organization who made the product.
